Glenn L. Kline, age 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at The Lutheran Home at Topton.  Born on April 30, 1947, he was the son of the late Robert L. Kline and Dorothy Walters Kline.  He is survived by his son, Chadd R. Kline, Shillington and his sister, Cynthia Kline Andrews, Reading.  He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara “Bonnie” Smith Kline, his daughter, Tara Marie Kline, sisters Gayle Kline Ott, Alice Kline Sites, Sharon Kline Sanders, and his brother Robert “Pep” Kline. Glenn worked for Glidden/ICI Paints for over 40 years.  He served in the United States Navy, spending time on a submarine as well as the USS Cone.  He was an athlete in high school playing basketball and running cross country for the Reading High Red Knights as well as The Olivet Boys and Girls Club.  He was an avid fisherman who loved taking his family for a day-long outing and picnic, fishing at many of the popular areas in Berks County.  He loved to play golf, and along with playing at the many courses here at home in Reading, he took a few trips to Myrtle Beach to play at the resorts there.  In his retirement he took up gardening and had one of the prettiest yards in the neighborhood.  In lieu of flowers, Glenn had made it known he would like donations made to Saint Jude’s Hospital for Children, https://www.stjude.org/, Berks Animal Rescue League, http://berksarl.org.  Arrangements entrusted to John P.
